　　May I have your attention please? It is our great honor and pleasure to have Professor Tony from Columbia University to deliver a lecture on American Culture at 9 o’clock tomorrow morning in our auditorium. I am more than delighted to inform that all the undergraduates are welcome to attend the lecture. 

　　Since China’s admission into the WTO, frequent exchanges are getting inevitable throughout the world, as more and more joint ventures have been set up in the mainland. Therefore, with this lecture, our student union intends to give us an access to cultural diversities so as to bridge the gap, diminish the conflict and enhance the friendship between different nations.
