根据美国法学院入学委员会（Law School Admission Council, LSAC）官方网站的内容，LSAC现在同美国大学注册主任与招生官员联合会（American Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers, AACRAO）联合为 申请 美国或加拿大LL.M.学位（或类似学位）的国际学生提供证书文件的统一寄送服务（Credential Assembly Service）http://www.LLM.LSAC.org。 
该服务将首先收集有关学生的成绩单、TOEFL成绩及其他相关文件，然后应学生要求，按照各个法学院的要求替学生向美国法学院寄送相关文件。该服务费用185美元，包含向五所学校寄送材料的费用。本服务有效期为5年。请注意，即使采用了该服务，学生依旧应当按照各个学校的要求进行申请，提交诸如PS，推荐信等材料。
根据LSAC官方网站的信息，截至2004年5月10日，美国已经有包括纽约大学法学院在内的10所法学院要求学生在申请时使用该服务（本人查看个有关学校的相关网页，发现这些学校并没有要求必须使用该服务）；包括耶鲁和哈佛在内的41所法学院推荐申请人使用该服务。
