3. How will technology develop in future?
That’s an interesting question. As to how technology will develop in future, I would like to explain my views by shortly mentioning the following points:
1a. Firstly, I guess that if we consider the speed at which technology is developing at the moment, we have no idea of what it will produce in future.
1b. For instance, in the field of telecommunication we have seen tremendous progress over the past ten or twenty years.
2a. In addition, I think that our paradigms and world views will undergo radical changes in future.
2b. For example, things like the transplanting of human organs, test tube babies, and now cloning of humans, have forced us to rethink our views on ethics.
3a. In addition, I think that globalization will become a far greater reality than is the case today.
3b. To be more specific, nations and governments will eventually work together in the fight against global issues like poverty, ignorance, pollution, overpopulation, conservation of our resources, and so on.
4. What role does technological development play in people’s lives?
1a. More industries and jobs are created.
1b. Cell phones, aircraft, space craft, computer accessories, satellites.
2a. Life is becoming more comfortable.
2b. Washing machines, tumble driers, steam irons, computers, Internet, fax machines, scanners, computer-assisted drawings (CAD).
