Now one can hear the warning: If everyone is allowed to take drugs, everyo ne will, and the gross national product will decrease and we shall end up a race of fools. Alarming thought. Yet it seems most unlikely that any reasonably he althyª²minded person will b***me a drug addict if he knows in advance what addic tion is going to be like. Is everyone reasonably sensible? No. Some people will always b***me drug addicts just as some people will always b***me drunken, and it is just too bad . Every man, however, has the power to kill himself if he chooses.
